We offer a wide range of sports and leisure opportunities. Some of our more popular activities are listed below:
Walking is a popular session as it is an easy way to get more active, improve your mood, balance and co-ordination. The route of the walk varies but can include parks and gardens, nature reserves and canal side but also may also include more built up areas in which road awareness becomes a focus.
Football sessions take place at the indoor sports dome. Sessions are overseen by our coach who has a 1st4sport level 1 award in coaching football. The focus is on football skills, social skills, teamwork and increasing physical activity to improve health and wellbeing. Achievement is celebrated with a Man of the Match award.
Cricket also takes place at the indoor sports dome. The focus on these sessions is not only physical activity but also to develop hand-eye co-ordination, social skills and teamwork. Achievement is recognised and celebrated with a sportsperson award.
Darts and pool are played on a regular basis for enjoyment and tournaments. The focus for both these sessions is hand eye co-ordination, social skills, problem solving, physical balance, focus and concentration. Winners are recognised and celebrated through certification.
