Our team consists of qualified and experienced individuals with a wide range of skills that enhance each other to deliver a quality service.  All our staff are DBS checked.

Terry Mann

As Founder and Director of STEPScic, Terry has over nineteen years experience in social care. Having started his career at Leonard Cheshire, Terry then worked for Wigan Council taking the lead on innovative projects in adult services.

These projects gained local and national recognition and not only led to European exposure but also led to a meeting with HRH The Queen. In his spare time Terry is a committed volunteer coach for a junior rugby league team at Shevington Sharks ARLFC and has supported local sporting organisations by providing sponsorship.

Louise Mann BA(hons)QTS

As Head of Teaching and Learning, Louise oversees accredited learning. She ensures that those individuals that wish to achieve certification are able to gain recognition for their achievements and reach their potential. Louise also undertakes the role of art workshop facilitator and is responsible for providing 2D and 3D art projects. We have been proud to present the work in previous years at the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh.

Louise brings over ten years secondary school teaching experience to both these roles.

Jackie Kennedy

As Day Service Manager, Jackie is responsible for ensuring that all our attendees needs are met and is available for any daily queries or concerns. Jackie has worked for STEPScic for over eight years and during that time has acquired a wealth of experience and level 5 qualification in social care. Jackie previously worked for over thirty years in travel, media and field sales for national organisations, therefore bringing excellent organisation and communication skills to the role.

Jayne Shaw

As Administration Manager at STEPScic, Jayne is responsible for ensuring that we are compliant with all recommendations set down by local government. She has brought a wealth of experience to the role having over twenty years previous managerial experience within a leading national retail organisation and over ten years experience at the Department for Work and Pensions.

Ian Young

As Senior Support Worker, Ian provides support and assistance as well as overseeing a designated group of attendees to ensure that we have up to date information and are meeting the needs of the individuals. Ian brings over seventeen years of social care experience and qualifications to the role. Previously, Ian was an Upholsterer and French polisher and in his spare time he is well known on the Crown Green Bowling circuit having represented Lancashire.

Ian has an extensive footballing background having not only played but also managed a team and holds a Level 1 Award in Coaching Football. We are proud to be able to use Ian’s knowledge, skills and experience when providing sessions at STEPScic.

Jaime Young

As a Support Worker, Jaime is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic. Jaime has over 20 years experience as a fully qualified level 2 hairdresser as well as over 7 years social care experience and qualifications to the role. She has also had over 14 years managerial experience within a leading retail organisation. Jaime leads our hair and beauty sessions in our on site salon. We are proud to be able to use Jaime’s skills and experience in our sessions at STEPScic.

Andy Sixsmith

As a Support Worker, Andy is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic.  Andy brings over twenty years of social care experience to the role, including over thirteen years of horticultural experience in a social care setting.  Andy is keen to enthuse our attendees and utilise his skills, knowledge and experience in our gardening and woodwork sessions.  In his spare time Andy is a member of a local running club, he has a UK Athletics leadership in running fitness qualification and is keen to promote physical activity to improve health and wellbeing.  We are proud to be able to use Andy’s skills, knowledge and experience within sessions at STEPScic.

Aggi Chudobska

As a support worker, Aggi is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic. Aggi brings over eleven years social care experience and qualifications to the role. Having skills within textiles and a passion for gardening, Aggi is keen to develop the skills of our attendees. We are proud to be able to use Aggi’s knowledge, skills and experience when providing sessions at STEPScic.

Gemma Molyneux

As a Support Worker, Gemma is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic.   Gemma brings over five years of social care experience to the role.  Having a passion for home improvement and skills in cooking, Gemma is keen to pass on her knowledge in order to help individuals to achieve their potential.  We are proud to be able to use Gemma’s knowledge, skills and experience within sessions at STEPScic

Amy Birchall

As a Support Worker, Amy is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic.  Amy brings over six years experience in health and social care to the role. Amy has a passion for horse riding and in her spare time enjoys tending to her own horse.  She is keen to enthuse and develop the interests of our attendees.  We are proud to be able to use Amy’s knowledge, skills and experience within sessions at STEPScic

Keiron Bradshaw

As a Support Worker, Keiron is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic.   Keiron brings over fourteen years of social care experience to the role.  Having previously been a painter and decorator and with a passion for sport particularly Rugby League and an interest in baking, Keiron is keen to develop the skills of our attendees. We are proud to be able to use Keiron’s knowledge, skills and experience within sessions at STEPScic

Emma Pugh

As a Support Worker, Emma is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic.    Emma brings over ten years of social care experience to the role.  Proficient in sign language and with a passion for home improvement and event planning she is keen to enable individuals to achieve their potential.  We are proud to be able to use Emma’s knowledge, skills and experience within sessions at STEPScic

Rebecca Hulme

As a Support Worker, Rebecca is responsible for providing support and assistance to those individuals who access STEPScic.  Rebecca brings a wealth of experience from care and young person settings. She has a passion for sports, particularly racket sports having represented Wigan in her youth.  She is keen to enthuse and develop the abilities of our attendees.  We are proud to be able to use Rebecca’s knowledge, skills and experience within sessions at STEPScic.
