STEPScic has strong links with SEN schools in the area, namely Hope School and College, Landgate School and Oakfield School and College.  We are invited to aspire sessions and transition events and we welcome schools to visit us as part of their transition.  Continuing links with schools has also ensured that we are in a position to establish the prior learning of the individual and build on this as they transition into day opportunities.

We are a presence at the Transition and Beyond Events so that we can meet families and professionals and discuss the opportunities that we provide.  We also offer the opportunity to come and meet our team, view our facilities and discuss our provision at our Open Evenings.  Private views can also be arranged by prior appointment. 

Taster days are arranged prior to service commencing.  This ensures the attendee is introduced gradually and at their own pace to new people and surroundings which helps to ensure a smooth transition.
