What an outstanding year it has been for STEPScic. 2022 has seen new additions to our already extensive and high-quality activity provision which has offered new opportunities for personal growth. There have been many successful outcomes which have positively affected skill development, confidence, and pride in achievements. One aspect of our activity provision is under redevelopment, and we look forward to sharing these exciting changes with you in early 2023. Our in-house ‘flightpath’ structure bespoke to STEPScic has seen huge success, a few attendees on our work flightpath were put forward to Wigan Council Community Unity Project at Haigh Hall. This has enabled these individuals to progress from our onsite work experience provision to offsite work experience in the public domain. It’s been fantastic to see the return of our hugely popular celebratory events and this year saw attendee’s qualifications and achievements recognised by stars of TV and sport. We are incredibly proud of the progress and achievements made in 2022 and we would like to take this opportunity to recognise the skills, hard work and commitment of our staff, some of which have achieved their own professional development qualifications this year.
